“Rear View Mirror” is a reimagined power suit that pushes boundaries with unexpected windowpanes placed in daring, tongue-in-cheek locations. The design is unapologetically bold and quirky, exaggerating body proportions to create a striking, unconventional silhouette. The garment began as a digital pattern drafted in Clo, which was then refined and perfected through hands-on experimentation. Working with vinyl and PVC brought unique challenges, especially in achieving clean, professional finishes, but persistence and tenacity revealed the most effective techniques. After a week of relentless late nights, “Rear View Mirror” emerged as the showpiece of the Fayde Zamora collection, embodying both technical precision and fearless creativity.
